At TherAssist, we’ve worked in nearly every corner of the behavioral health world—as therapists, credentialing pros, billing wizards, benefits reviewers, HR specialists, program directors, and everything in between. We get it, because we’ve been there.

TherAssist was founded in 2016 by Melissa Owen Norris to help small practices untangle the chaos of credentialing. Since then, we’ve grown into a full-service support team for providers and agencies across the country—offering everything from insurance enrollment and billing help to compliance training, audits, forms, and strategy.

We’ve also been very intentional about who’s on our team. We hire people who love details, solve problems before you know they exist, and genuinely care about your experience. Friendly, responsive, and a little bit obsessive (in the best way)—that’s just how we do things.
